Chris Montcalmo is a Baltimore native, playing live acoustic alt-rock & pop in and around Maryland. If you love music from the ’80s, ’90s, ’00s, and today, you’ll love hearing Chris play. He packs in plenty of Matchbox 20, Pearl Jam, The Eagles, The Lumineers, Fall Out Boy, Jason Mraz, Train, The Lumineers, Green Day, Guns N’ Roses, and much more.
Chris is the former lead singer/guitarist/keyboard player for Union Jack, a local Baltimore band with whom he performed from 1998 – 2003. Union Jack held their CD release party for their album “Statik” at Baltimore’s Hard Rock Cafe in 2000. They were also featured on MTV’s show “Undressed.” Before that, Chris was the keyboard player for the classic rock band Project Rock.
In 2014, eleven years after his last show with Union Jack, Chris grabbed his guitar and decided to dive back into the local music scene.
Chris also plays solo instrumental piano shows in and around the Baltimore area and directs praise bands at two local churches.
